Admission Process

Entrance examination will be taken for the admission in first year for all Bachelor and Diploma courses. Lateral entry admission to the Bachelor programme for diploma holders at the 2nd year level will be made through Lateral Entry entrance test to be conducted by the Institute.

Candidates are advised to read instruction very carefully. The Institute, reserves the right to change the rules and regulation without any prior notice.

Payment of Fees

Entire fees for the all course indicated in the prospectus paid through Demand Draft is to be made on the name of “Vidyapati Institute of Higher Education”, Payable at Samastipur.

Board and University Fees

Examination fee, technical fee, registration fee etc. as charged by statutory bodies of the examination will be paid by students at the time of filling of forms for all courses. At the time of examination, the college will charge Rs. 1000/- for conduction of theory and practical examination. This will be in addition to the fee charged by the statutory bodies of the examination.

Attendance

Every student must attend at least 80% of the total classes in theory, practical and clinical training. A student who does not attend 80% of classes will not be allowed to appear in the examination conducted by the statutory bodies. Decision of the Chairman of the institute will be final in the case. Special relief up to 5% may be given by arranging extra classes.

Striking off the name from Admission Register

Any student who does not pay his fee on time as stipulated in our institutions or indulge in any act of  indiscipline will be removed from the rolls of the institute and he/she can be re-admitted back only after obtaining order of the Chairman of the Institute by paying re-admission fee.

Medium of Instruction

Normally all the teaching schedule and examination will be done in English medium. For training the weak students’ separate arrangement will be made by the Institute for training in English free of cost. Emphasis will be given to develop the skill of spoken English. For rural & weak students special lectures will be delivered in Hindi so that students understand the subjects.
